Touch Tours for the Blind and Partially Sighted

 

Touch Tours take place on the 2nd Thursday of each month, usually from 11am - 12noon at various venues across the Oxford University Gardens, Libraries and Museums (GLAM).

 

The tours are free but booking is essential.

 

Whether you are visiting for the first time or a regular visitor, and you can be sure of a warm welcome.

Thursday 11th September April, 11am - 12 noon: Beautiful Shells at the Museum of Natural History 

Join us and Collections Manager Mark Carnell for a tour into the wonderful world of shells, based around his new book "Beautiful Shells.

Thursday 9th October, 11am - 12 noon: Japanese Tea Bowls at the Ashmolean Museum 

Join us at the Eastern Art Study Centre to learn all about the history and traditions of the Japanese Tea Ceremony through a collection of beautiful bowls.
