Research and Impact

Oxford University's Gardens, Libraries and Museums (GLAM) house some of the world's most significant collections. We facilitate research by the academic divisions of the University and by other national and international scholars; however, we are also research institutions in our own right, doing research from archaeology to zoology.

In these pages, you will find out about the wealth of world-leading research going on in GLAM as well as information about research visits, public engagement with research (PER), the AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Partnerships (CDP) programme, and more. Support for researchers will include a research funding guide, information about Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021, and training opportunities.
