Volunteer at the Museums

The Joint Museums Volunteer Service coordinates a large pool of volunteers who help in public-facing and behind-the-scenes roles across the Ashmolean, the History of Science Museum, the Museum of Natural History, and the Pitt Rivers Museum. We also coordinate volunteers who help at public events at the Botanic Garden and Harcourt Arboretum and the Bate Collection of Musical Instruments.

We are very grateful to our volunteers, whose vital contributions make a real and valued difference to our work. In return, we hope that volunteers enjoy sharing their enthusiasm and building their confidence and skills in an interesting and supportive environment.
