What's On

Family Activities

If you're visiting as a family, then why not come to one of our family friendly events. There are lots to choose from throughout the year - almost all are free to attend and they're a great introduction to the collections.

From planting to painting; the deep blue sea to the sky above us; storybook characters, historical figures, and myths and monsters – there's something for everyone!

Volunteering

There are lots of opportunities to get involved as a volunteer across the Gardens, Libraries and Museums.

Most volunteers work with the public, from helping with family activities, to delivering introductory tours. There are also opportunities to help in other areas of the collections, such as assisting curatorial, administrative or education staff behind the scenes.
