Charlotte is responsible for the coordination and collection of visitor data across the gardens, libraries and museums. Taking a hands-on approach to evaluation, Charlotte engages with visitors through surveys, focus groups, observations and interviews. She also trains GLAM staff and volunteers to support in the delivery of the evaluation programme, working alongside the Public Engagement with Research Officer to improve data quality and consistency, and identifying gaps and biases. Charlotte is a doctoral student at UCL, researching multi-species and social justice in British botanic gardens, funded by the London Arts and Humanities Partnership. She has worked in several museums across Oxford in operational and public engagement roles.
