Meet Me Programme for Older Adults

 

Meet Me is a social group for older people, that enables free, behind-the-scenes access to the Oxford University Gardens, Libraries and Museums sites and their collections. These include:

  • Botanic Gardens and Harcourt Arboretum
  • Bodleian Library
  • Ashmolean Museum 
  • History of Science Museum 
  • Museum of Natural History
  • Pitt Rivers Museum 
 

These events take place on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, 2 - 4pm.

 

Sessions usually last around 2 hours and are free, but booking is essential as spaces are limited.

 

Whether you are visiting for the first time or a regular participant, and you can be sure of a warm welcome.

Nautilus Shell. Smooth, curved shaped shell with a large opening that curves around to the left. It's a pale colour with dark yellow stipes and a dark tip at the top or the curve.

 

Wednesday 13th December, 10:30 - 12:30 / 2pm - 4pm: The Cephalopods; Octopus, Squid and Cuttlefish.
